It's an oxymoron.Cannonpointer » 17 Jul 2024, 10:19 am » wrote: ↑ There is an enormous populist movement within the republican party. Saying otherwise is simply silly.
But THEY are the RINOs - not the reagan swine. And half of THEM are so stupid, they STILL lick reagan's taint, thinking him one of them.
I see no oxymoron. They are republicans who got disaffected with their party's performance, found a leader who voiced what they viewed as "their" beliefs/thoughts/concerns, and lionized him as the guy who "gets" them.
Historically, it emphasizes the idea of self-governance and ranges from the rule of a representative minority or aristocracy to popular sovereignty.Cannonpointer » 17 Jul 2024, 10:39 am » wrote: ↑ I see no oxymoron. It really isn't hard to comprehend. If you've ever watched any movies, you might have stumbled across the same theme, here and there. Andy Griffith's "A Face in the Crowd" leaps to mind.
The guy won because hillary was just despised universally, and the dems were perceived to have stolen the nomination from bernie. Maybe Hillary would have beaten Bernie in a fair contest and maybe not - but the world will never know, since the books were cooked. So Trump won, and he got rocket man to chill, got NATO's member states to pony up, stemmed the tide of illegals, was the first president this century who avoided new wars, and threw red meat on the daily to his joyous populist supporters.
Of course, he horrified the party hierarchy, and of course, he is the RINO, not they - and being forced to deal with him is, for them, like drinking a glass of runny rat **** every day. They hate him with a virulence -and even more, they hate pretending NOT to hate him as a precondition to keeping their lavish positions. Their torture is my delight.
I am rather confused that you people are confused. Maybe youse are just that stupid - idunno.

Over what? The polls showing a landslide victory for Trump is in the offing?
More likely laughing out loud as your brainless Democrat party runs around stamping their feet because Biden won't drop out of the race!
Believe me, if another assassination attempt comes, it will be far more likely to come from a Democrat who is willing to shoot Biden for NOT dropping out!
And if Kamala is campaigning alongside him, both will be in danger probably from being suicided by the combined lesbo team of Hillary and Michael!
If I was Joe, I'd probably hire a food taste-tester.

Like this, a statistical impossibility:
And dopes like you are counting on the same kind of fraud being perpetrated again, now that they've failed to assassinate the next president.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Nearly two-thirds of Democrats say President Joe Biden should withdraw from the presidential race and let his party nominate a different candidate, according to a new poll, sharply undercutting his post-debate claim that “average Democrats” are still with him even if some “big names” are turning on him.
The new survey by the AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, conducted as Biden works to salvage his candidacy two weeks after his debate flop, also found that only about 3 in 10 Democrats are extremely or very confident that he has the mental capability to serve effectively as president, down slightly from 40% in an AP-NORC poll in February.
