That is the dumbest argument in history.Zeets2 » 19 Jul 2024, 9:55 am » wrote: ↑ Sure I've heard of it!
But I NEVER heard it mentioned until Obama was elected! Did you?
Have YOU ever heard of the phrase "cause and effect"?
Can you show me where it was called "Great" by a single politician or news source prior to November 2008?
Or where the "Great" recession was ever referred to as "great" before that date?
YUP! We were in a recession when Obama won the election. I've never claimed otherwise.Blackvegetable » 19 Jul 2024, 10:02 am » wrote: ↑ That is the dumbest argument in history.**** idiot.
- 2006: After years of above-average price increases, housing prices peaked and mortgage loan delinquency rose, leading to the United States housing bubble.[88][89] Due to increasingly lax underwriting standards, one-third of all mortgages in 2006 were subprime or no-documentation loans,[90] which comprised 17 percent of home purchases that year.[91]
- May 2006: JPMorgan warns clients of housing downturn, especially sub-prime.[92]
- August 2006: The yield curve inverted, signaling a recession was likely within a year or two.[93]
- November 2006: UBS sounded "the alarm about an impending crisis in the U.S. housing market" [92]

So where in your response did ANYONE refer to the recession as "Great"?
NO ONE DID, because IT WASN'T GREAT UNTIL OBAMA MADE IT GREAT!
And if you could have proved otherwise in the dozen or so times you've denied it, YOU WOULD HAVE!![]()

@*DrippyVagina,

It's demonstrably stupid, as demonstrated.Zeets2 » 19 Jul 2024, 11:03 am » wrote: ↑ Why do you keep evading the question?
Or is it finally obvious to you that your idiot socialist hero CAUSED that recession to BECOME "GREAT"?
Tell me the truth, jackass. How long have you been searching for a single politician or pundit who can prove I'm wrong out of the thousands of politicians nationwide or the tens of thousands of political pundits in the whole year that led up to Election day 2008? And NOT ONE OF THEM EVER claimed it was a "great" recession UNTIL OBAMA WON THE ELECTION, have they?
Bet you searched google for hours trying to find one, haven't you?
Oh contraire, dickhead!Blackvegetable » 19 Jul 2024, 11:18 am » wrote: ↑ It's demonstrably stupid, as demonstrated.
The severity of a recession isn't measured by adjectives used by popular media to describe it.

STOP! Hold it! That recession(economic collapse)was caused by BUSH!Zeets2 » 19 Jul 2024, 9:14 am » wrote: ↑ Really?
How many businesses went bankrupt since Obama was elected in November of 2008 and throughout his first year as president, dickhead?
How many millions of jobs were lost?
Was there EVER a recession as bad as Obama's Great Recession or took longer to recover from one?
Is THAT the contradiction to history that a dope like you is referring to?
You're a moronZeets2 » 19 Jul 2024, 12:57 pm » wrote: ↑ Oh contraire, dickhead!
Are you claiming that it never was really a "great" recession, just because it ONLY became one after Obama was elected?
Isn't it funny how you used the adjective "great" all the time to describe that recession until it got pinned to your donkey's ***, isn't it?
So you're going to claim now it wasn't really "great"?
And the depression from the 1930's wasn't a "great" depression either?
We use specific adjectives like that to differentiate between LEVELS of the noun that follows. All recessions ARE NOT equal, and their "greatness" (for lack of a better term) is determined by their length of time until recovery as well as the depths to which they plunged the economy into.
And that length and depth ONLY became "great" when OBAMA CAUSED IT TO BECOME SO!
And you liberal idiots can't stand that fact about your socialist messiah!
Thanks for causing the GREAT RECESSION!
That's not the question, and NO ONE is claiming that Obama didn't inherit a recession.Beakman » 19 Jul 2024, 1:46 pm » wrote: ↑ STOP! Hold it! That recession(economic collapse)was caused by BUSH!Obama inherited it!
So then go ahead and prove me wrong, dickhead?
