We had a black market. Industrious kids with high ethical standing would bring **** for sale at profit, and the less popular kids had a double reason to purchase from them. Being their customer bought their amity (at minimum, benign neutrality), and they also got stuff they wanted. This was junior high. yep. @FOS said it is primarily whites who have such an outstanding history and record of practicing hard work and industriousness since that was an evolutionary mechanism.
