I can make WIDGETS for $2 each IN QUANTITY in materials and labor, but it takes me over $2,500,000 to get a PATENT on it, BUY THE NECESSARY TOOLS TO MAKE IT, build a factory to house it, AND THEN TO TEST IT IN REAL LIFE TO ASSURE ITS SAFE AND FUNCTIONS AS DESIGNED!! So how do I PAY FOR ALL OF THAT other than to sell my WIDGITS for $35 each?? AND make enough money doing so to feed my family and pay my bills!!!
