As an Orthodox Christian, I often wonder how it came to be that Western Christianity
developed such a psychopathic lust for conquest, death, blood, and misery for children.

religion namely the christian religion has played a role in a lot of battles in US history, the indian massacres were done by people who saw the indians as heathens, non christian and to be killed in accordance with the will of God. slavery was condoned by the churches. the salem witch trials were purely based on religion.

all these were  not the will of God but the twisting of religion by the churches. no way am I saying that Christ asked for any of this or even permitted it.
