Undoubtedly, she was afraid to further infuriate the thousands of anti-semites in Michigan and Wisconsin if she picked a Jew.
So instead she picks a governor who let rioters run wild for days in Minneapolis to make a ticket that's now the most soft on crime tandem to ever run for the White House!
 
But in doing so, it's hard to imagine how Walz can bring her a single electoral vote coming from deep blue Minnesota, which she would have won anyway.
And it may very well cost them the state of PA going to Trump which would be a devastating loss.

I bet Shapiro wanted nothing to do with being her VP he saw it as political suicide to his career. A losing ticket, he probably tanked his interview on purpose

And he also knew how he'd have to reverse his position of favoring fracking and drilling in PA for this climate wacko bitch!
That alone is a position that will likely hand the state to Trump.

I’m guessing the top names wanted nothing to do with her   To be honest.  They have futures and this is political death. 

However, as an aging white man. I am now more inclined to vote for the ticket. Based on race, gendered and age.  Not!

Either they panicked to see Trump within the margin of error in MN, (a must-win state for them) or they feared losing Michigan and Wisconsin if she picked a Jew from PA.

Weird choice...until you go to Wikipedia. I want the over under on how long it takes for the sentence about Tim Walz having taken a teaching job in China after college, to disappear from Wikipedia.
