You're right, some **** never gets old...Cannonpointer » 07 Aug 2024, 8:18 pm » wrote: ↑ It never gets old, does it?
And ya know why?
It's because watching a pimp get pimp-slapped is just fun, no matter how many times ya see it.
What was that show on the teevee - ran for YEARS. Oh yeah - America's Funniest Home Vidoes, or something like that. Anyway, it was mostly just watching guys get comically nut tagged, over and over and over. This was before the internet blew up, I believe. Yeah - just googled it. Started in 1989.Ran 39 SEASONS! Got the name right, too.
What made it so popular? Unexpected nut shots, innocently delivered. That gag never fails, no matter how many permutations of it ya see.
I must have told that mother **** no questions dick sucker a thousand times by now - and I STILL get a kick out of doing it.

And he had put in nearly a quarter of a century and was ready to run for Congress. Why would anyone postpone their future after serving long and well?

I could very easily go and get proof of when he was given notice his unit was activated and going to be deployed - which you would then **** yet another weak excuse for.
You have seen him claim to have been in war - and you tried to pretend Italy was part of the afghan theater.
Why would I paper chase, only to hear more weak sauce from Walz's fellow valor thief?

The discrepancies in Walz’s story starts with how long he re-enlisted for. In 2006, as Walz was amid his first campaign for Congress, questions were raised about the timing of Walz’s retirement. Tom Hagen, a Minnesota military reservist who served in Iraq, sent a letter to the editor of The Winona Daily News questioning Walz’s sudden retirement after learning his unit would be deployed to Iraq. However, official documents from the National Guard contradict Walz’s story. According to Walz’s Report of Separation and Military Service form, Walz re-enlisted for six years, with his service obligation being complete on September 18, 2007.According to Behrends, Walz’s battalion received a warning order to prepare to be mobilized for active duty for a deployment to Iraq in early 2005. On May 16, 2005, Walz retired, leaving his battalion and its soldiers without a key leader as they prepared to go to war.

Even if Walz did re-enlist for 4 years, he still retired months before his obligation was complete, Behrends noted, adding that it furthers the belief that Walz retired to avoid deployment.

Yes, I have seen that. His band of brothers despises him - as I suspect Major Burns' band of brothers despise him.righteous » 07 Aug 2024, 9:07 pm » wrote: ↑ A LITTLE MORE INFO TO BURY HIS NARRATIVE:
according to a Department of Defense Directive, he could have run and requested permission from the Secretary of Defense before entering active duty; as many reservists have. If he had retired normally and respectfully, you would think he would have ensured his retirement documents were correctly filled out and signed, and that he would have ensured he was reduced to Master Sergeant for dropping out of the academy. Instead he waited for the paperwork to catch up to him. His official retirement document states, SOLDIER NOT AVAILABLE FOR SIGNATURE.
