In 2007, the Utah Symphony and Opera gave challenge coins to all of its staff and musicians, making it the first symphony organization in America to do so.[38] Franklin Public School in Ontario has a coin that is given to graduates, featuring its mascot 'Frankie'.[39] Many non-profits, especially those with connections to the military, give challenge coins to donors to acknowledge their support of the organization.[40][41] The FBI's Crisis Response unit was the first unit in the FBI to issue coins to unit members in late 1980s. Memorial coins can be used to commemorate fallen officers.[42]

I can find a law against illegal search and seizure. Why is the Harry/Balz SS detail breaking and entering a private business and stealing?maineman » 11 Aug 2024, 12:12 pm » wrote: ↑ So you can't find a citation in law or regulations that discusses the official nature of challenge coins?

Note: Walz wants to take YOUR "weapons of war" away.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz “misspoke” in a newly resurfaced video from 2018 in which he said he handled assault weapons “in war,” a Harris campaign spokesperson told CNN on Saturday.
Walz’s military record has been heavily scrutinized by Republicans, including GOP vice presidential nominee JD Vance, after Walz was tapped as Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate on Monday. Vance has accused the Minnesota governor of “stolen valor,” pointing to a video from 2018 circulated by the Harris campaign this week of Walz referring to weapons “that I carried in war” while explaining his support for an assault weapons ban.
“We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war,” Walz said in the video.

@maineman "stolen valor" Please don't bother trying to defend this CLOWN
The bottom line in all of this is gut wrenching and sad to explain. When the nation called, he quit. He failed to complete the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy. He failed to serve for two years following completion of the academy, which he dropped out of. He failed to serve two years after the conditional promotion to Command Sergeant Major. He failed to fulfill the full six years of the enlistment he signed on September 18th, 2001. He failed his country. He failed his state. He failed the Minnesota Army National Guard, the 1-125th Field Artillery Battalion, and his fellow Soldiers. And he failed to lead by example. Shameful.NEILCAR » 11 Aug 2024, 8:49 pm » wrote: ↑ Walz served 24 years in the military and attain the high rank of command sergeant major for the battalion. Not a lot of people get the rank of command sergeant major for the battalion. Very Few. This is the position where if "the **** hit the fan" ... he is the guy you turn to ... both enlisted and officers. He is your go to guy .... the guy that "no-matter-what" has the answers.
Walz should be commended and recognized for the high rank he achieved.
Everyone in your unit knows about a year ahead of time when you will be deployed to a war zone.
Watz retired when his unit needed him most. He bailed on his unit.
