This "JD Vance - Venture Capitalist" thing has a bit of a pong. Apparently he seduced Peter Thiel with his Hillbilly shtick while at Yale, after which Pete put a **** ton of money and resources at JD's disposal. Obviously the VC thing was theater from the start, intended to give Pete's groomed whore a bit of gravitas.
But it gets even better.

Some workers said they suffered heat exhaustion or injuries, though state inspectors did not find violations.
