No, the JUDGE IS NOT THE LAW IN ANY COURTROOM!!!
His purpose is to INTERPRET THE LAW so that LAWYERS present cases that FALL WITHIN THE RULES OF EVIDENCE, THAT A FAIR TRAIL IS ASSURED THE DEFENDANT, and that the JURY HEARS EVIDENCE that doesn't prejudice their verdict with extemporaneous ****!!
