I’ve given him the Ruger Mini 14 example for years. He doesn’t listen. He is not smart enough to understand
Tell me what you believe I "don't understand" about it.*Huey » 10 Sep 2024, 7:38 am » wrote: ↑ I’ve given him the Ruger Mini 14 example for years. He doesn’t listen. He is not smart enough to understand
That when you have a mini 15 with a wood stock you loons see a hunting rifle. You replace the wood stock with EXTERNAL PIECES that make it look military you loons see an assault rifle.Blackvegetable » 10 Sep 2024, 7:51 am » wrote: ↑ Tell me what you believe I "don't understand" about it.
A) they DON'T have the same internals*Huey » 10 Sep 2024, 7:57 am » wrote: ↑ That when you have a mini 15 with a wood stock you loons see a hunting rifle. You replace the wood stock with EXTERNAL PIECES that make it look military you loons see an assault rifle.
Although nothing internal changed.
The Ruger Mini 14 has the same internals as the Ruger mini tactical, ****.Blackvegetable » 10 Sep 2024, 8:20 am » wrote: ↑ A) they DON'T have the same internals
B) Why doesn't Lauren Boebert pose with a Ruger Mini-14?
My bad....I thought you were referring to the tactical version that actually sells....*Huey » 10 Sep 2024, 8:29 am » wrote: ↑ The Ruger Mini 14 has the same internals as the Ruger mini tactical, ****.
You should have noticed by now any previous ban or proposed ban, state or federal, has to do with EXTERNAL features, not internal.
I've tried to explain it to you, but you'll need to read about the reasons Insurance companies paid 75 million for Sandy Hook yourself. You should have noticed by now any previous ban or proposed ban, state or federal, has to do with EXTERNAL features, not internal.
The tactical tiger mini as I explained is the same internally as the Mini Ranch.Blackvegetable » 10 Sep 2024, 9:07 am » wrote: ↑ My bad....I thought you were referring to the tactical version that actually sells....

For once, you are correct!!
Ruger isn't selling tactical minis by the millions.*Huey » 10 Sep 2024, 9:10 am » wrote: ↑ The tactical tiger mini as I explained is the same internally as the Mini Ranch.
I am correct concerning the bans. That is why to are reframing.

The context is AR-15s, which are. The Colt AR-15/M16 family of weapons, based on the Armalite AR-15 design, uses different internals than Ruger's mini.
Learn why insurance companies paid 75 million for Sandy Hook

Ffurthermore, the internal of the Sporter is a different design than the M 16 as your source, as well as the BATF explained to you.

It is unambiguous on that point.
To prevent a civilian semi-automatic AR-15 from being readily converted for use with the select fire components, several features were changed. Parts changed include the lower receiver, bolt carrier, hammer, trigger, disconnector, and safety/mode selector. The semi-automatic bolt carrier has a longer lightening slot to prevent the bolt's engagement with an automatic sear. Due to a decrease in mass, the buffer spring is heavier. On the select-fire version, the hammer has an extra spur which interacts with the additional auto-sear that holds it back until the bolt carrier group is fully in battery, when the automatic fire is selected.[74]Using a portion of the select fire parts in a semi-automatic rifle will not enable a select fire option (this requires a registered part with the ATF). Lower receivers that are select-fire are identified by a pinhole above the safety/mode selection switch.[75][76][77][78] As designed by Colt, the pins supporting the semi-auto trigger and hammer in the lower receiver are larger than those used in the military rifle to prevent interchangeability between semi-automatic and select-fire components. The pivot pin may also be slightly larger in diameter.[79][80]Blackvegetable » 10 Sep 2024, 9:24 am » wrote: ↑ Refer to your citation.
