The AVERAGE price IN THE COUNTRY on Dec. 1, 2020 was $2.14 a gallon!
The prices in NJ have always been significantly lower than the national average because the much higher price of gas on the west coast skews that average for the country.

If you need the proof shoved up your ***, I'm happy to oblige!
Today, 10/1/24, the NATIONAL AVERAGE price of gas is $3.206 per gallon (see the 1st link below).
Today, 10/1/24, the NJ AVERAGE price of gas is $2.986, which is 22 cents LESS per gallon than the national average. And in the county where I lived in 2020/2021 the LOWEST price of gas today is $2.62, A FULL 36 CENTS CHEAPER THAN THE NJ AVERAGE, and over 58 cents per gallon cheaper than the NATIONAL average today (see the 2nd link).

You'd think you'd have learned by now to keep your ignorance to yourself, rather than expose it to everyone here, but then you wouldn't be the biggest nitwit here, would you?

Since you're SO certain of that, can you explain why the national average price of gas today is $.58.4 cents HIGHER than it is in the NJ county I lived in, which is proven in the links I provided?
