"Musicians" hate Black Sabbath because they were able to make it big with less technical expertise and polish than what they feel should be required but nevertheless BLACK SABBATH / BLACK SABBATH was a bad *** debut album.
I found that Black Sabbath had a "cult following" with Beaners from East LA....

I would put Deep Purple "Made In Japan" on the list just bc of "Smoke on the Water"
Dire Straits
Journey "Infinity"
Hendrix "Smash Hits"
The Doors
Creedence CWR.... "Bootleg" and "Run Through The Jungle" Creedence was just some HS kids from the SF Bay Area [and not the swamps of Louisiana]

Yes indeed! The E. Ellay Beaners all loved the old DooWop hits of the 50's and Wolfman Jack! I dig Zoot Suits and Lo-Rider rigs, used to mock them on Friday nights cruisin Whittier Blvd, Great fun! :D   :D   :D
