GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KJCT) - On Friday, Sept. 17, Mesa Co. Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters presented the Mesa Co. Board of Commissioners with alleged evidence of a significant loss of data found within the Mesa Co. voting systems.Peters explained in an interview that, “Behind my back and contrary to prior representations, these records were destroyed by the Secretary of State and the vendor. And, preventing any audit of the 2020 election. This appears to be a serious crime. But thanks to my arranging for a forensic image, that the EMS servers, just beforehand, those records are preserved.” According to Peters, this information was lost during a routine election system maintenance operation called a “trusted build” on May 25, 2021.The evidence Peters gave to the board is an 83-page report of forensic examination and analysis. According to Peters, it was prepared by Doug Gould, the cyber forensic expert retained to advise her in accordance with her duties as the county’s Chief Election Official. The Colo. Sec. of State Jena Griswold had stripped Clerk Peters of her election supervision authorities. In Aug., the Mesa Co. Board of Commissioners appointed Wayne Williams as the county’s Designated Election Official. Mesa Co. had to replace its voting equipment after Griswold decertified citing security compromises. The county’s new voting systems have since been certified. According to Peters, “The report also shows that these machines cannot meet certification requirements of the State of Colorado, and should not have been certified for use. This is why I had to arrange for these images to be made. It was the only way I could find if the records were in fact destroyed, and whether the machines were designed to accurately tabulate the votes. And it turned out my suspicions were correct.”Blackvegetable » 03 Oct 2024, 7:39 pm » wrote: ↑ Lying piece of ****..
“I am convinced you would do it all over again if you could. You’re as defiant as any defendant this court has ever seen,” Barrett told her in handing down the sentence. “You are no hero. You abused your position and you’re a charlatan.”
Jurors found Peters guilty in August for allowing a man to misuse a security card to access to the Mesa County election system and for being deceptive about that person’s identity. The man was affiliated with MyPillow chief executive Mike Lindell, a prominent promoter of false claims that voting machines were manipulated to steal the election from former President Donald Trump.
At trial, prosecutors said Peters, a Republican, was seeking fame and became “fixated” on voting problems after becoming involved with those who had questioned the accuracy of the presidential election results.
A onetime hero to election deniers, Peters has been unapologetic about what happened.

The report provided by Peters claims, “Forensic examination found that election records, including data described in the Federal Election Commission’s 2002 Voting Systems Standards (VSS) mandated by Colorado law as certification requirements for Colorado voting systems, have been destroyed on the Mesa County’s voting system, by the system vendor and the Colorado Secretary of State’s office.” The report then continues by naming concerns for possible data destruction in other counties.

Colorado Judge Matthew Barrett just sentenced Tina Peters to nine years in prison. Nine years. Tina Peters is a 69-year-old woman, with no prior criminal record, who was found guilty of “attempting to influence a public servant in violation of duty” among other election-related charges. Listen to Judge Barrett’s unhinged admonishment of Tina prior to sentencing her to multiple sentences of years, which the judge ordered to be served consecutively. This is Orwellian madness. Absolute communism. Add it to the list. Stay the hell out of Colorado, people.https://choiceclips.whatfinger.com/2024 ... o-9-years/
- BREAKING: Tina Peters, the gold star mom and former clerk of Mesa County, Colorado, has just been sentenced to 9 years in prison by a corrupt judge for preserving records on the Dominion voting machines before they could delete everything This is in the same state that loves releasing the worst offenders back on the streets. Upholding federal law by backing up election records before deletion is a bigger crime to them than murder, theft, and even migrant gang takeover of apartment buildings. Pray for Tina Peters.

On August 25, 2022, Knisley pled guilty to three misdemeanor counts of trespass, official misconduct, and violation of duty, having cut a plea deal with prosecutors to keep her out of prison in exchange for testifying against Peters and others in the case. Court documents say Knisley admitted she knew about and participated in a “scheme with Tina Peters and other identified people to deceive public servants from both the Colorado Secretary of State's Office and Mesa County."[78] The document continues to state, “This scheme, which was significantly directed by Tina Peters, ultimately permitted an unauthorized individual to gain access to secure areas inside the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's Office so that this person — fraudulently held out to be improperly titled as Gerald Wood, but who was later identified to actually be Conan Hayes — could participate in Mesa County's trusted build with Tina Peters and Sandra Brown.”[79]

Griswold's office responded, "Prior to the routine upgrade to voting equipment called the 'trusted build', counties are directed to save to external media all data necessary to completely audit and verify a prior election. This data may be restored to the EMS after the trusted build. No court has ever held that voting system event logs are election records within the meaning of 52 U.S.C. § 20701."
