go ahead and ignore everything Christ said, the parable of the good samaritan, do unto others as you  want to be treated, keep every penny you ever made. see what happens.

You are ignoring John 3:16.  You can't just believe what fits your lifestyle and discard the rest.

on the contrary it shows that salvation cannot be obtained without works.

it shows that many will be denied heaven because they never fed the hungry etc. they will be shocked because they expected full acceptance to heaven and their ministers told them that works are not necessary. all ready to go to heaven but that does not happen.

exactly whose lifestyle are you referring to?

 these are people who filled the churches and expect immediate entrance into heaven. sadly as simon would say it is a no and that would be final.

 No.  You don't get into heaven because of your good deeds.  Do you think you can be good enough for God?

Christ made it clear we should feed the hungry.

But let me ask you.  Do you think that people like Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Jack the Ripper, Ivan the Terrible, and Genghis Kahn are in heaven?
