The truth?

LNG export facilities, planned and licensed years before, were coming on line.

U.S. LNG exports increased in the first half of 2023 after Freeport LNG returned to service in February and ramped up to full production by April. Relatively strong demand for LNG in Europe amid high international natural gas prices supported increased U.S. LNG exports during the year. U.S. LNG exports set monthly records late last year: 12.9 Bcf/d in November, followed by 13.6 Bcf/d in December. We estimate that utilization of U.S. LNG export capacity averaged 104% of nominal capacity and 86% of peak capacity across the seven U.S. LNG terminals operating in 2023.

Hey stupid!
This was about TRUMP'S record of bringing us to energy independence DURING HIS TERM WHICH ENDED IN 2021.

Who was president in 2023?  You should know, because you voted for that demented Alzheimer's patient!

You're so full of ****, I'd wager money you were conceived during anal sex!
Ask your father, if you can ever find him!

In 2020, Donald Trump’s last year in office, the U.S. imported 7.9 million barrels per day (BPD) of crude oil and refined petroleum products. However, we exported more than that, so we were a net exporter, and hence energy independent — unless you believe oil imports are a disqualifier. [I DO   ]

Thus, if you want to be consistent, then either we were still energy independent in 2021 per the net export definition, or we have never been energy independent (and never will be) [I AGREE :)  ] if you assume energy independence requires the U.S. to import no oil. [I DO   ]

Gummy  :)

As LNG shipping capacity grows so do exports, Idiot.

Grifty did squat to make it happen.

Naturally, it kills you to admit how great a job Trump did, but we're not talking about what was done LAST YEAR, are we, you asshole?
These are the things Trump did between 2017 and 2022, dickwad!:
President Trump’s deregulation campaign has eliminated unnecessarily burdensome rules that stifled domestic energy production.
  • The deregulatory actions taken by the Trump Administration are simultaneously benefiting the American consumer and the energy sector by lowering cost, speeding up projects, and removing unnecessary bureaucratic and regulatory hurdles.
  • President Trump has signed multiple Executive Orders to speed up energy infrastructure development and support American energy jobs.
  • The Administration took action to right-size the Federal Government’s environmental review process, the first such update in over 40 years.
  • President Trump has ended the Obama Administration’s war on coal and is replacing the expensive, job-killing Clean Power Plan with the Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) rule.
  • All told, the President’s actions unleashing the shale revolution are saving Americans over $200 billion annually through lower energy prices.
Now tell me, idiot.
WHERE IS THERE ANY MENTION OF THE CAPACITY FOR LNG SHIPPING?

And while you're at it, maybe you'd like to take a shot at explaining why it is that EVEN WITH HIGHER OIL PRODUCTION UNDER BIDEN, the cost of gas is STILL 50% higher then when Trump was president?
Could it be that retarded liberal democrats like you simply enjoy paying for higher gas and diesel prices, higher electric bills, higher heating costs, and the huge increase in inflation your two idiots brought us that caused an over 20% increase in food and other essential costs?
