I just happened to see a couple of headlines where trading was halted the last few days which prompted me to take a look see.
Let me give you a recent example.
A stock on my watchlist is BlackBerry. It’s an old dot com company that still survives to this day.
A couple weeks ago it was on the verge of rallying hard, then at barely 5% it was “halted.”
At that point I knew that Scam St (Wall St) wanted to load up on the shares for cheap, so I put a small amount of my portfolio in BlackBerry shares (not options because the IV is too high).
So maybe I should thank Scam Street for subtly notifying me of what will happen in the next few weeks.
[Most people are too stupid to know what these signals entail but I get a good laugh]
It’s down about 5% since I bought but I know they are just trying to shake out as many hands as possible.
Scam St likes to run things up when nobody is paying attention, and when retail idiots see a lot of green they pile in with heavy bags.
