He is just quote mining. He basically observed that sometimes politicians say nonsense. He then pretended Trump always says nonsense, which does not follow. Anyone could create a similar collection of quotes from every president we have had...all the way back to George Washington. Probably the worst would come from lbj, if I had to guess...check some of his weirdest moments.
This is the oldest trick in the book and I am disappointed with the lack of imagination.
And what was the point? In fact, who actually cares what politicians say? If speaking matters so much then Kimmel is probably more powerful than the president, and he should behave accordingly.
