The article says he was relieved of "duty."  They were right.  You were - and stubbornly, stupidly, continue to be - wrong.

And above and beyond that, he was relieved of duty, as a young JO, by a loser... a fraud and a felon who went to prison, while Bill McRaven excelled as a leader who rose as high as anyone can go in the military... but you would put more stock in the convict.  Sad.

Now... what part of "dismissed" did you not understand the first time?

Yes it is.  Seal Team leaders are O-5 Level officers and indeed commanders.
