If you accepted the jury's verdict, you wouldn't refuse to answer questions about the details, nor would you lie about where and why Kaplan wrote as he did.

Kaplan made a ruling that was not based on NY State Penal Law...he went on a fishing expedition for a definition that fit his narrative. It's not my fault he lied about the answer the jury gave to the very first question on their verdict form. If I were the defendant, I would have instructed my team to appeal his decision as it was not based on the applicable law under which the case was tried. Using Kaplan's logic, I should be able to sue someone in NY, over something that allegedly happened in NY, and tell him the trial had to be based on the laws of the State of Texas.
