Hegseth is less of a cabinet secretary and more of a camera-ready performer. He’s able to keep his job — at least for now — not through competent governance, but rather by responding to the CBS News report by publishing a tweet that read in part, “We should have installed tampon machines in every men’s bathroom at DoD instead — the leftist ‘news’ media would have loved that.”

It’s the sort of juvenile online trolling that makes Hegseth look ridiculous to everyone except those ingrained in far-right politics.

Can't figure out whether they are stupid and gay, or gay and stupid.
What's pretty gay is you supporting tampon machines in a man's bathroom.....is that from having your *** bloodied on a regular basis here, MaxiPad?

Grifty's cabinet will include more FOX alums than graduates of Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Stanford and the University of Chicago - COMBINED.

He is literally picking people he's "seen on TV".
Hamilton said it wasn’t a surprise that Lewandowski was the messenger, even if Lewandowski, technically an unpaid and temporary special government employee, wasn’t his boss. Lewandowski has long served as Noem’s gatekeeper, described to me by DHS staff as her “handler,” her “bulldog,” and the “shadow secretary.” They are also widely understood by those who work with them to be romantically attached. (Noem and Lewandowski have both denied this.) In April, the Daily Mail snapped photographs of Lewandowski outside her Navy Yard complex with a duffel bag slung over his shoulder, and partly in response to the presence of the Mail’s paparazzi, which a DHS spokesperson said had led to threats and safety concerns, she moved into military housing usually reserved for the top admiral of the Coast Guard, which is under DHS’s purview. This has only fueled the rumors surrounding Noem. “They’ve sent no three- or four-stars in the Coast Guard up for confirmation,” a top administration official told me, “because she doesn’t want to get kicked out of the commandant’s house.”

As far as you prediction, if you had made that prediction PRIOR to the election you could slap yourself on the back.  But you made it AFTER he started naming name.

That is like predicting the mets are gonna win after the games starts and they already scored 12 runs.

Who among us doubts that Master Vegetable brings both Nail and Hammer?

This discussion misses the bigger effort the Trump administration seems to be engaged in. In lieu of careful analysis of the campaign’s legality, detailed rationales for the boat strikes and explanations of why they couldn’t be done with more traditional methods, we get Mr. Hegseth posting an image of himself with laser eyes and video after video of alleged drug traffickers being killed. The cartoon turtle is just one example in an avalanche of juvenile public messaging about those we kill. I suspect the question the administration cares about is not “is this legal,” “is this a war crime,” “is this murder” or even “is this good for America,” but rather, “isn’t this violence delightful?”

The president’s supporters seem to grasp this. Fox News’s Jesse Watters responded with utter incredulity that the United States would offer quarter to an enemy. “We’re blowing up terrorists in the Caribbean,” he said on Monday, “but we’re supposed to rescue them from drowning if they survive?” Others went further. “I really do kind of not only want to see them killed in the water, whether they’re on the boat or in the water,” Megyn Kelly, the conservative podcaster, said, “but I’d really like to see them suffer. I would like Trump and Hegseth to make it last a long time so they lose a limb and bleed out.”

An Associated Press investigation suggests that the men Ms. Kelly would like to watch slowly die are often poor laborers: a fisherman, a motorcycle taxi driver, a bus driver, living in cinder-block homes with spotty water and power service, making at least $500 per trip ferrying cocaine, a crime Americans normally judge worthy of a prison sentence.

Presidential historian Barbara Perry said other presidents have been revolutionary or pushed through major reforms in their first year in office — former president Abraham Lincoln grappling with the U.S. Civil War and Franklin Roosevelt with his New Deal during the Great Depression.

Still, "the pace of change, Trump's style, how it's been done, his approach to all of it — it's like no other president in American history," Perry said in an interview. "Everything is extreme and performative. He's turned the presidency into a reality show."

“The White House is trying to program reality as if it were reality TV,” Thompson wrote. What Trump is pioneering, he added, is “choose-your-own-reality governance.”

Minnesota could finally teach Trump the limits of theatrics

The president is learning a hard lesson about policy versus personnel.

You aren't worth paying attention towards. Neither am I and that is why I use websites like this to discuss my brain's observations of life all around my time equally alive since conceived proportionately part of evolving in plain sight uniquely alive by chromosomes not reality.

Where is Soros Hiring? There are only 12 out of 9000 jobs listed in a 35 mile radius for "activist"

There are 4 for "politic". Big fat Zero for "Protest"

I thought protesting was a huge money maker?

George doesn't do the Hiring, his funded NGO's do. Remember Valerie Jarrett was a few of those organizations leadership since Bill Clinton Administration, Barack Obama's and Joe Biden's as she was key administrator in each presidency.

The NGO's aren't advertising on Indeed...  Do they trans mutate grocery store applicants into mercenaries?

I volunteer my biological time for free on free message boards that allow me to post on their site. Many in the past 19 years stopped allowing me to post on their sites since I discuss my brain activity rather than recite social consensus of type cast socially ordered stereotypes like yourself.

In reality seeing is believing and out of sight, is out of mind. My brain navigates everything equally present as my time adapting by my chromosomes left alive daily here in ever changing form that cannot change the shape of universe evolving forward balancing new total sum every heartbeat forward now.

I am grounded at what I have always been since a fertilized cell, you stay in character since date of birth assigned by laws that order social compliance to people declaring life isn't self evident time living here now.

Pentagon bars press photographers over ‘unflattering’ Hegseth photos
