By all appearances, his job isn’t to serve an administrative role, overseeing one of the planet’s largest and most complex bureaucracies; his job is to effectively play the role of defense secretary on TV, saying words like “tough” and “strength” on Fox News as Trump nods along while watching..

Hegseth is less of a cabinet secretary and more of a camera-ready performer. He’s able to keep his job — at least for now — not through competent governance, but rather by responding to the CBS News report by publishing a tweet that read in part, “We should have installed tampon machines in every men’s bathroom at DoD instead — the leftist ‘news’ media would have loved that.”

 It’s the sort of juvenile online trolling that makes Hegseth look ridiculous to everyone except those ingrained in far-right politics.

This discussion misses the bigger effort the Trump administration seems to be engaged in. In lieu of careful analysis of the campaign’s legality, detailed rationales for the boat strikes and explanations of why they couldn’t be done with more traditional methods, we get Mr. Hegseth posting an image of himself with laser eyes and video after video of alleged drug traffickers being killed. The cartoon turtle is just one example in an avalanche of juvenile public messaging about those we kill. I suspect the question the administration cares about is not “is this legal,” “is this a war crime,” “is this murder” or even “is this good for America,” but rather, “isn’t this violence delightful?” 


The president’s supporters seem to grasp this. George doesn't do the Hiring, his funded NGO's do. Remember Valerie Jarrett was a few of those organizations leadership since Bill Clinton Administration, Barack Obama's and Joe Biden's as she was key administrator in each presidency.

I volunteer my biological time for free on free message boards that allow me to post on their site. Many in the past 19 years stopped allowing me to post on their sites since I discuss my brain activity rather than recite social consensus of type cast socially ordered stereotypes like yourself.

In reality seeing is believing and out of sight, is out of mind. My brain navigates everything equally present as my time adapting by my chromosomes left alive daily here in ever changing form that cannot change the shape of universe evolving forward balancing new total sum every heartbeat forward now.
