Some people can live great lives until 100 on Oscar Meyer Baloney and Wonderbread and some will die at age 40 from living the "cleanest" possible life they can.
What I have learned to do is base my beliefs and chances on what seem like the most learned wisdom I can get.

So there is something hidden going on. "Must just be genetics" isn't an explanation - it's an excuse for not explaining it. 

I say metal toxicity is at the root of it.

Do any  colloidal silver / chelation  practitioners die young from heart attacks...?
I met a doctor who claimed she worked at a clinic in Alaska and the insurance at the time covered chelation therapy 
She  said that she never saw any miraculous results, which disappointed her.
I read the chelation pamphlet years ago and it sounds good in theory.

My BIL was suffering early onset dementia. We took him to a naturopath who determined he had acute aluminum toxicity. He put him on a chelation regimen that included purchasing an in-home infrared sauna, certain supplements, and some kind of suppository (giggle).

Within 90 days, my BIL'S aluminum toxicity was a thing of the past, and he was back to his on-point self. 

My BIL's insurance carrier did NOT cover his costs. I would not expect anything insurance covers to be efficacious.

That's an example of a malady that chelation IS indicated for.

But when you're a big boy, you'll understand that there are SOME threats a gun is perfect to counter, and others a gun is meaningless against. 

Don't bring an app to a gun fight, and don't bring a gun to an app fight. You will lose.
