Syria's problems are because Syria is a bunch of tribal arabs attempted to be ruled by a weak, feckless dictator (who likely isn't arab) who never even wanted the job. Now, less than 8% of Syria is Christian. Those who could escape have been doing so for decades. *** killing *** - too many of them to share the morning dew off the desert sand. FWIW, there's a good chance that Alawites were once Christian converts who converted to save their asses from murderous arab-maniacs. That's why Alawites believe in a Trinity and share other secret Christian beliefs.

Most Syrian Muzzies can look at Bashar and can tell he's not "one of them". He's got blue eyes. His blood is more European than it is Arab - particularly on his mother's side.
