Is it true that cross-examining witnesses wasn't allowed during the "January 6th hearings"?

With what would they be cross examined?

How would anybody know .....when the witnesses were never cross examined ...,
because the Commitee never allowed any Republicans that were not anti-trump on the committee...
and before the committee even interviewed their first supposed witness ..they are all on public record stating Trump committed treason and was guilty of insurrection.

That's what makes the whole thing a contrived farce in my eyes and those of a whole lot of Americans ....

Amazing how Babbitt just happened to be wearing backwards fall protection [her well stuffed back pack]
There was no splatter or pool of blood until after the [[[Guy In The Suit]]] kneeled down and started handling Babbitt while she laid on the floor.
Officer Byrd fired his gun in the same general direction as dozens of people on the opposite side of the glass.
Some of the people in his line of fire were cops.

I watched the frame by frame footage of that scene dozens of times. 
I also watched that scene presented frame by frame by those  who have  tactical imagery interpretation as their MOS and posted links to the video here as soon as I could.

There is no mention of that in the pot I replied to or the post I made.

Contrasting evidence or questions of witnesses was not allowed.  That I was what I was talking about.  Nod and we can move on.
