If you think about it, they are doing the right thing. 

The only reason the vietnam war ended was that american soldiers were fragging their lieutenants faster than west point could mint replacements. That's it. The will of the people had nothing to do with it. The unpopularity of the war had nothing to do with it. The country's inability to replace lieutenants is what did the trick. Almost 20% of casualties were commissioned officers.

Zelensky has hundreds of thousands of deserters. There was one entire unit that just walked away from the front, and then they gathered and led a protest to complain and explain why they left.

In Ukraine, the civilian government handles military criminal cases. They have no military courts. They literally do not have enough courts and judges to punish the level of desertion in Ukraine. And that is only HALF the story. Many of the soldiers on the front AREN'T ON THE FRONT. They're in cafes, working jobs - and still collecting their military pay and showing up on the books. They have bribed their way out. 

Likewise, many of the desertions are not reported, so the brass believes the gone soldiers are still manning their posts - and this, because their officers are afraid of punishment if they admit they have been bled out by desertions.

Yes sir, but they still have numbers lathered with West mercs who are enticed with $500-$700 per day.
They began with 800,000 soldiers trained and propagandized by NATO trainers.
100s of miles of trenches built over 10 years....by NATO contractors.
Multiple billions$$ of West weapons.
NATO logistics.
The West funding Uke govt services.

Ukraine is literally NATO's FRANKENSTEIN.

This conflict may continue for another 6-12 months.

Putin has no reason to trust double-talk Trumpy.

In the case of Ukraine, not so much. Ukraine was used as a proxy to **** with Russia. Ukraine welched on all of its treaties with Russia.

Ukraine's Constitution mandates that Ukraine never join any military alliance - that it remain neutral, like Switzerland. If you know the map, you understand that a neutral Ukraine is a guarantor of peace between east and west. Between Russia and western Europe. The Maidan Coup, managed by the U.S. State Department (which also decided who could and could not serve in the coup government), was the end of Ukraine's sovereignty. All of this squawking about "sovereignty" from a U.S vassal state is simply ridiculous.

Ukraine wasn't really a "sovereign" nation even BEFORE the Maidan coup, thanks to the fact that rampant corruption had it teetering on the edge of being a failed state at all times. Any chick with reasonable tits and most of her teeth married a foreigner and got the **** out. The western elites were scoring their babies to rape from Ukraine - beautiful white children. They loved it - no longer having to settle for dark meat. 

Ukraine was a punch line long before it became a punching bag. Beautiful women - the slavs are a handsome folk. But they cannot seem to manage petty corruption. I cannot comment on petty corruption in Russia. I have a hunch, based on their good results, that Putin's government has it somewhat in hand. Fear of exposure and punishment are the cure - and I suspect that Russia is managing to instill that fear and keep petty corruption down.

That is precisely Putin's dilemma. He has every reason NOT to trust a word the Americans utter. 

I challenge any mother **** on this board to name one treaty that the United States has ever honored. 

Putin knows that the U.S. will sign a peace agreement in bad faith - that anything the U.S. promises is in bad faith. I really cannot imagine how he will get around that, when it comes time to establish normal relations. I would not be surprised if we saw some sort of quarantine - something like the no man's land at the DMZ in diahkoreah. I suspect the east is going to begin to view the west as fatally diseased, and they are going to just stop doing business with the Tranny Kingdom. Let Europe be squeezed by U.S. "fossil" fuels, and just sell his own to India and China.

At the end of the day, what does the west have to offer? Russia's missile tech is a generation ahead. Mostly what the U.S. produces is debt money. Putin is looking to build Russia up, ala FDR. Funny western money isn't going to help with that - especially when it comes with strings, the biggest being that he has to let his people be corrupted by degrading jew culture.

By the way, those western mercs are among the deserters. They were promised a functioning military to serve in, and what they were delivered was a cannon to be shot out of. Most of those mercs required - and were promised - training. They were also promised particular duty stations - you signed up for an artillery unit, you are a sniper, you are a tank and truck mechanic. 

Then they got stuck in the infantry, or in a rifle company. Or they were given a spot in an artillery unit - but no ammunition for the artillery, and so they were de facto in a rifle company. And those entrenchments? That was then, this is now - those have all been overrun and are now behind Russian lines. And the new ones? They don't exist except on paper, because of the rampant corruption. When corruption has hit the level of petty and ubiquitous, there IS no amount of money that government can pay for a thing, and still get that thing. Paying more does not get you more. It just loses you more, and you get the same thing - nothing. 

On top of that, Putin targets mercs specifically. He would rather kill anglos and norwegians and frogs than fellow slavs. He sees Ukrainians as the victims of the yanks and a jew in a green t-shirt.

There is a reason that Putin has his people with him. He was smart enough to see how the dc mafia plays the game, and he cut them off at the pass.

Remember how they squealed when he made NGOs register as foreign agents? That was because it put them under special controls and limitations. He did not allow them to set up a color revolution or a coup on his watch. I wish he had been able to smarten Ukraine up in time.
