I tend to agree with that - he was a cop, standards are different for a cop when one or a number of angry people are trying to advance on him. He will not be convicted of any crime, even if charged.

This video certainly doesn't support any coordinated effort with Donald Trump to engage in an insurrection. Quite to the contrary, it shows a few (3) individuals acting violently and damaging government property. However, nothing compared to the damage BLM rioters and looters did to government and private property.

He was responsible for the safety of the people behind him. He could certainly reasonably fear for THEIR safety, and that would justify shooting an unarmed intruder. Because really, she was not unarmed.
