“The vehicle safety check process was critical for our teams. With moving this amount of equipment and firefighters, safety has to be our highest priority,” OSFM Agency Administrator Ian Yocum said. “Our Oregon strike teams are motivated, committed to what they do, and excited to get out to the line and help where they are needed.”

The so called "safety check" was uncalled for since those trucks were good enough to be dispatched to any **** fire to fight in Oregon and were road worthy enough to make the trip into California. Only some dumb **** Libtard like you would think those trucks needed to waste a minute's worth of time getting checked in Sacramento.
I have no doubt that smog testing those trucks while they were already in the maintenance facility was part of the deal too.

I don't. I understand living as displaced equally timed apart uniquely how I came to be me same way anyone else became them. I can balance in series parallel existing in plain sight without a social consensus defining who I am tomorrow.

The urban NY firefighters aren't qualified to fight forest fires.  It requires quite a bit of specialized training.
