Oregon firefighters arrive in California, begin fighting Palisades FireLOS ANGELES, Cali. – 300 firefighters from Oregon have arrived in the Los Angeles area to assist with devastating wildfires that have already destroyed thousands of homes and killed at least 10 people.
According to the Oregon State Fire Marshal’s Office, the 15 strike teams from Oregon arrived on January 9, with 11 of those teams beginning firefighting operations on January 10. The OSFM said 300 firefighters and 75 engines were deployed to the Los Angeles area, and will work alongside CAL Fire and other state and federal agencies to patrol for hot spots and control fire activity.
What ISN'T **** is that the LAFD is understaffed. And what ISN'T **** is that they fired 113 men for refusing to take an experimental vaccine that did not stop transmission or contagion.
What also ISN'T **** is that they replaced the fire chief with a bull dyke set on DEI hiring, so that instead of men fighting this blaze, women are fighting it. And men are better fighters, no matter WHAT pseudo-science tells you. They're stronger, with more endurance, and you have to cut them to make them bleed. They're just all around better at outdoor work and heavy lifting.
Believe me, I know. My high school guidance counselor - a veritable genius prognosticator - told me that I was made specifically by nature and nature's God for the purpose of lifting heavy things and taking direction. Guess what? I've spent my entire career doing BOTH of those things. That man could see around corners.

The crews could have very easily swapped drivers.
I have made this very same drive many times without stopping..and I wasn't trying to save any lives at my final destination.

While the story of emissions testing and being turned away are false, it seems a bit silly to me to delay help to check brakes, tires, windshields, ect. It's not like other states don't have readiness standards too. Maybe California should have spent time inspecting their water supply before the fires, instead of dumping the obviously needed water into the ocean.
