There needs to be a delineation. Being someone who has consensual sex with a developed 14 year old is repulsive. However, someone who does the same thing with a 6 year old is another ball of wax. I would vote for the former not being eligible for the death penalty but the latter being so.

There are quite a few members of my generation who had teenage parents or grand parents.
Back when average life expectancy was much shorter and when children were expected to grow up and accept responsibility much sooner.

Does not mean that we should be ok with it. If I have any say in it.. my daughter is not giving birth at 12. Its a different world and we do not need 12 year old girls getting married and procreating.

Teenagers with first child. what about 4 or 5th child when siblings have a decade age difference or step parent or adopted, well the chromosomes of future generations aren't the same lineage anymore?

Just contextually related as intellectual family members not biological.

see in my family in last 3 generations parents were 30 when I was added, my children arrive after I was 35, my grandchild arrived when my child reach 35 years old. second one arriving next month.

the thing about averages is they drop the specifics of each all the time. Guess what created missing links of evolution? intellectual minds ignoring how genetics flow as eternally separated lifetimes here now.

Life is a perpetual balancing scenario that eventually eliminates what doesn't stay in balance as a whole part of life evolving as displaced here now. karma.

That distinction is not important. My point is that there is a delineation between those that are after puberty and those that are not. I do not condone either. However, the death penalty is IMO ok for those who assault/molest/rape those that are far before hitting that stage. Nothing messes one up quite like that. According to the law, the age of consent is 16 in most states and I  have no problem with that. If the victim is 15 then jail time is fine. If the victim is 6.. not quite.
