I would never presume that anyone is curling 90lb dumbbells. Because, that would just be stupid, even for a juiced-up body builder. It doesn't do anything and you just risk getting forearm-splints.
actual time evolving in plain sight. He won't admit it anymore than you will since you both ignore how evolving works in your own two ancestral positions daily.Blackvegetable » 20 Jan 2025, 3:55 pm » wrote: ↑ Have you figured out what you insist I'm lying about?
LOL! I've been lifting weights for years, so it sort of interests me. I know I've worked out with 80's before, possibly 90's, but that would have been a one-off most likely to show off for friends when I was younger. I was more into bench press, and tracked my numbers closely. Well, that is until I turned 30. I think my bench press peaked when I was about 26.*Huey » 20 Jan 2025, 4:59 pm » wrote: ↑ He has been doing this for years. He is trying to intimidate others and issue veiled threats. Shortly he may start posting his 4 striped martial arts pics. Same thing. I call them his Cap Stueben Stripes.

Body builders can continue to develop muscle well into their 30's. However, if they aren't juicing, nearly all men peak-out strength-wise when they are 24-28. There's no all-natural man benching more when they are 40 than they did when they were 25, if they trained just as hard at 25.
I get it, some people, like you, lift weights to enhance their athletic pursuits. I did it, still do it, for strength and, while I can't really explain this, it just feels good! It's been a life-long addiction for me. Even when I used to fight and run long distance, I still pounded the weights. Reps, sure. But, I was always trying to increase my max on bench press and shoulder press.*Huey » 20 Jan 2025, 5:51 pm » wrote: ↑ I was an athlete, active in sports for 55 years. In my 20s and 30s I played baseball on a semipro level, and tackle football until the age of 32 in the army. The only reason I went to the gym was to remain limber and able to protect myself, whether in the army or civilian word.
I did reps of wieght.
No...It was playing with the 95 that got me in trouble...the best I could do with the shoulder was 12 reps at 70.....and that's fine, except I'd like to do incline, and I couldn't.Skans » 20 Jan 2025, 4:52 pm » wrote: ↑ Are you saying that with a shoulder injury, you are doing 90lb dumbbell presses on a flat bench? Now I can do incline AND try to progress to 100lb dumbbell presses again
