 Back in the day Glass, Metals, & Paper easily "Recyclable" just seperated "Melted" Down.

Now Paper & Wood Pulp hadda be "Re-Processed a "Pulp Mill" but once "Managable" economically too.

Today "PLASTIC" Everywhere too Nowadays too.

Problem  unlike Glass , Metal, or Paper there are somthing like 15 grades of Plastic.

And they cannot just be easily "Proccessed" neither.

But everything today just "Plastic"..

Only way "Plastics" Biodegrade is Photovaltic "Degeneration".

But look around Plastic Garbage Everywhere.

And the "Sun" only "Shines" so much

Good post.  I agree, discarded plastic is a real problem.

Those 6 pack bands I alway cut them.

A Bird at the park had one trapped couldnt get it off.

Skittish critter but got him by me & I took the plastic ring off.

What is the basis of plastic? fossil fuels.
What are fossil fuels? previous organic life reverted back into periodic elements evolved into a different form naturally here and mankind manipulating it into products used by the species globally here.
