An Inspector General (IG) is an independent official within an organization responsible for conducting audits, investigations, and inspections to identify and report instances of waste, fraud, and abuse, while also promoting efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with policies and regulations, essentially acting as an internal oversight body to keep the agency head and Congress informed about potential issues within the organization.
Auditing:Conducting independent financial and performance audits to assess the effectiveness and economy of programs and operations.
Can't wait for the full accounting over all these agencies and this moron in the video should get replayed over and over!
