Sometimes, I'm a sucker for well made, stupid things.  I also have an affinity for nicely machined and finished stainless steel / carbon steel and even high-grade aluminum.

Every once in awhile, I will discover a serious rifle or pistol (not the pen gun) which exhibits high quality, durability, reliability, in a well-balanced compact design that I can't resist buying it.  And, while I like and own AR's, Glocks and 1911's, I'm sick of manufacturers copying these vintage designs with no meaningful variation or improvement

What up with well established companies like S&W releasing new models that have so many problems...?

I can see why a Clone Outfit like Taurus has found a niche market with people who just want a cheap gun to run a box of ammo through, then stashed.

I haven't liked anything S&W has manufactured for years.  They made some truly excellent guns from the late 60's through the '90's.  Their newer guns don't suck, I just don't want one.  CZ has taken over where S&W left off. I am really wanting a CZ Shadow Compact. I also like some of the Tanfoglio guns - underrated for as good as they actually are.  The German-made higher end Sigs are excellent.  I also like HK's USP9 Expert V1.

You know, I'm going to have to buy a couple more guns and stock up on ammo while Trump's in office.  No telling what happens when he leaves.
