Sometimes, when I see that a stock is range-bound, I will do a little margin/leveraged day-trading. I did this with Nvidia for awhile while it was rangebound between 130 and 143. When I saw the volatility rise even a little on that stock, I stopped. If I see things set up nicely with Apple, Microsoft, Google, BofA, or some other mega-caps, I will play a little.
I'd like to have one of Tesla's robots....take it to Home Depot and let it check stock for straight boards instead of me having to do it.

Ever notice that HD and Lowes sell hit for lumber?
"Put" means whore in Lithuanian.

Imagine that! Oh you are. Every reality does imagine life beyond actual time living eternally separated now.Vegas » 26 Feb 2025, 10:51 am » wrote: ↑ @nefarious101 what do you think? I only took out one. I am in the green so far. Tesla is tanking. I get the feeling it won't bounce back for a while.

I get it. It is a form of gambling, and it can be fun....and sometimes rewarding. I truly believe in long term investing. But, I will occasionally do a bit of day-trading too if I feel fairly certain I can pick up a few bucks. We just like different games.Vegas » 26 Feb 2025, 7:45 pm » wrote: ↑ I definitely have long term stocks. I just like to do options. It's gambling really.
That's the kind of thing you have on Palantir that I don't - you've been following this company, studying it for quite some time. I only recently learned about this company, maybe a year ago. So, I pretty much stick to looking at its fundamentals. I don't really know its products as someone would who has been following this company for years. Because the fundamentals are too far out from my investment model, and because I don't really know what this company will be capable of, I simply cross it off my list of companies to consider.nefarious101 » 26 Feb 2025, 6:35 pm » wrote: ↑ Cost is low so I really can't lose....plus I've followed their story long before they came to market...if there will ever be a "SkyNet"....this is the one that will create it

I tend to be rather mechanical that way - it keeps me from wondering off the reservation and possibly into hidden quicksand. It also means that I may miss out on the next Amazon.

So you working within Robin Hood account? My son does that also. Tick tock. Time is money, not position simply equally alive since conceived limited to equally eternally separated cradle to grave staying in character nobody is allowed to question tomorrow, 24/7 today without retribution by every alternate reality in this atmosphere.
