trump does not want peace anywhere, not ukraine, not israel. he is not even going to listen to what putin wants, just puts sanctions on russia.
he will give weapons to israel when iran attacks because israel still treats gaza like ****, instead of telling israel unless they turn back on the electricity they will not get weapons; they have to live with the consequences when they get attacked.

What kind of "theatre" is it when the President tells the leader of a country that we won't be throwing hundreds of billions of dollars at you any longer since you've made it obvious that you don't want a peace deal?

And if you don't like that response, that's too damn bad! What would you want the US to do if Mexico or Canada lobbed rockets and missiles into the US for years on end? Didn't we take huge tracts of land from Mexico after we won the Mexican-American war in 1848? How is it ANY different than what Israel has done?
The fact is that the US (and most every other country) would NOT hold back their overwhelming military might even for days before retaliating the way Israel did after they tried to live with them in peace!
