One time we went to Sleeping Bear Dunes.  Dad brought an RC Glider.  It was amazing to see him do loops 200 feet below our ground level.  The landing was tough and he had to go around a few times.  The place is phooking windy.  I guess that why the 500 ft dunes are there in the first place.

How many Truckers are out of work not taking stuff North to Canada?

Kentucky is phooked.  The Bourbon River has a dam at the Northern Border.  Trumpocalypse doesn't give a dam.

I am thinking about going Live on Youtube and strumming the guitar for folks.

Hey look at the bright side, perhaps Canadians won't be jam packing all the parks here. On the Dark Side, all the parks are getting DOGE'd.

Now in a "Trucking" Sense I do know NAFTA places like Laredo Texas & Woodhaven Michigan.

I-75 nothing but Auto Parts loads too.

We did the cross country trip a couple of times in migration to  a CA Business that didn't work out and back East. I love the Southwest.  Mrs You not so much.

So many memories.   Standing on the Corner in Winslow Arizona was memorable.  Try the Corn and Black Bean Soup at La Posa if you get a chance.
 

New Mexico I was thinking about the "Desert" but had just a "Rest Stop" allotted my "Carrier" that day..

Do ya know I miss them days too but my "Health" on a "Downslide"

I cannot cannot handle the Big Truck amymore today.

Im suprised in the army ya could get that fat on the basic rations even on base and chow hall they dont feed ya much.

But ya could go to the "PX" buy all the candy bars & sodas n ice cream your heart desired

i drove several years a Carrier called "Bolt Express" based in Toledo Ohio.

Their main buisness was hauling auto parts Canada & Mexico.

I was the "American" Driver got it across American Highways.

From Toledo Ohio or Detroit they had Canada Truckers take it to Windsor or Toronto..

Down in Laredo Texas we had a yard & terminal on the Texas side of river ya drop a trailer there and a Mexican Trucker bring you a loaded for Detroit & ya switched trailers and paperwork

That was a very good "paying" job too I took home 800 a Grand per week after taxes & Blue Cross insurance my weekly was $75 bucks a paycheck employee contribution back then for Health Coverage.

After afew years doing that I lost my freaking mind and last load up to Toledo I packed up my stuff went back to Wisconsin

Before ya go I did the Georgia/North Carolina section the Appalachian Trail.

Starting out I arranged a Ride $100 bucks from Atlanta to Amiacola Falls State Park the officall start of Appalachian Trail.

I was already 50 by then and in Appalachia thats Up and Down Mountains with 50 pounds of gear and water on your back.

Afew weeks in I pared that pack down a clean 42 pounds.

By Nantahala North Carolina 121 miles and 3/4 weeks in I was Half "DEAD"

People I was hiking with said ya aint gonna make the Climb..

in town at a motel they arranged a ride 4 me to the Grayhound Bus Station in Ashville & I took their advice instead of being "Stubborn"

That was my Appalachian Trail hike
 

Afew years later I did just a "Weekender" in New York..

I took the Amtrack from Chicago to NYC..

Then I walked from there with a Road Map to Grand Centrat Station and the Metro North last stop is a Farm & Appalachian Trail got off..

Winter was mild but still alotta snow in mountains New York.

I actually lost the trail then got lost even further.

I found a Road and stayed there until a nice lady stopped and gave me a ride into town.

From there was a Metro Station and I got back NYC bought Amtrak ticket home

IM Older now got some health issues as well.

Today I stay closer 2 home got the lakefront beaches and I know all the bike trails 3 counties around.

If I dont have to drive I just walk to the store.

My neigbor pulled up asked me ya gotta car and a Jeep why ya walking pal.

He stopped told me throw my groceries in the trunk.

I said ya dont understand pal.

I "Enjoy" just "Walking" but Thank You I appreciate it
