I did tell a coworker "I'll hold my hand up if I make a mistake. I hope I don't have to hold both of them up on the other side of your AR-15"  Evidently the fridge plant was big on firearm ownership as a company hobby in the past and used to fix them in the shop.

I did hear at one time the French were trying to make time metric.  10 seconds a minute, 10 minutes and hour, ten hours a day, 10 days a month, 10 months a year.

Damn I am glad some folks didn't go along with them on that phooked up quantum time scale from hell. I am still freaking out the sun is setting an hour later everyday. Ben Franklin is a hero but Daylight Savings Time is expendable.
