WHAT DID WE GAIN FROM SENDING MEN TO THE MOON IN the 1960's and even early 70's??

GO!!

And it was MULTIPLE moon landings and MULTIPLE HOURS on the surface.
  • Apollo 14 (February 1971):
A third manned lunar landing and the first to land in the lunar highlands.
  • Apollo 15 (July 1971):
The first mission to use the Lunar Rover, allowing for more extensive exploration of the lunar surface.
  • Apollo 16 (April 1972):
Another landing in the lunar highlands, featuring astronauts John Young and Charles Duke.
  • Apollo 17 (December 1972):
The final manned mission to the Moon, with astronauts Eugene Cernan and Harrison Schmitt.
  • Apollo 11 (July 1969):
The first manned lunar landing, with astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin stepping onto the Moon's surface in the Sea of Tranquility.
  • Apollo 12 (November 1969):
The second manned lunar landing, with astronauts Charles Conrad and Alan Bean.
--------------------------------------------
Scientific Achievements:
  • Lunar Samples:
The Apollo 11 mission returned 21.6 kilograms of lunar rocks and soil, providing a treasure trove of material for scientific analysis.
  • Understanding the Moon's Age:
The samples revealed that the Moon is incredibly ancient, with some rocks dating back over 3 billion years, offering insights into the early solar system.
  • Lunar Experiments:
Astronauts deployed scientific instruments on the lunar surface to study the solar wind, measure moonquakes, and determine the distance between Earth and the Moon.
  • Technological Advancements:
The Apollo program spurred technological advancements in areas like space travel, communications, and materials science, some of which have found applications in everyday life. -----------------------------------------------------

Well I am not going to invest in any "Meme" Coins.  Looks like Doge **** to  Me.  I don't want to find out if they taste like it.

I did advise an associate who sold at the peak on this graph.  I take pride in the advice.  It may take awhile to get back up there.  Is paint made in the USA? The Saga of my involvement in the transaction is very long. It all began with a bonus of 4 shares a deceased relative received as a bonus before 1984.

Gee, how pathetic you really are, DOPEY!!

Seeing how BIDEN fully supported not only a LIVING SPACE ON THE MOON, but using it as a steppingstone to inhabiting MARS!!

And you said NOTHING but "let's do it'!!
  • Expressed key support for the Artemis program and America’s Moon to Mars approach. At a press conference in February, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki communicated the White House’s endorsement of the agency’s plan to sustainably return to the Moon. Throughout the 2020s, the Artemis program will lay the foundation for a sustained long-term presence on the lunar surface. We will use the Moon to validate deep space systems and operations before embarking on a human voyage to Mars

Every historical reality of nurtured minds ends same way past and current events where everyone takes pride in believing they can manipulate time forward daily while only individually adapting to the moment here each rotation of the planet since conceived promising midnight to noon will be better than time alive noon to midnight today, 7 days a week working 7 sins against 7 virtues of mob rule by race, creed, color, gender, generation gap, academic training, political leaning, artistic interpretation, spiritual beliefs, social faith life has to be more than genetics eternally separating life in this atmosphere now.

O wow, I left out economic rank in one's social franchise of humanity on a global scale measuring each ancestor ever lived so far against any great great grandchild born tomorrow.
