What is the significance of the grassy knoll?
What is the grassy knoll? Many eyewitnesses to the assassination thought at least one of the shots came from the right front of President Kennedy in an area now known as the grassy knoll. This area is a hill on the north side of Elm Street near some concrete steps and topped by a 5-foot wooden stockade fence.

And people ran to the grassy knoll?

Doesn't that throw out your argument...?

Read every book and watch everything available..

Everything was based on "what if's" and "there were more people involved".....

I finally looked at the facts
And it was clear the shots came from the SBD.

The gun that was used and found at the TSBD was purchased by Oswald.
He left the scene and murdered a police officer.
Then he hid in a movie theatre.
And then when approached he didn't act like an innocent man.

You quote Rob Reiner.
He thinks there were 4 gunmen involved and then Oswald.

Where did all these bullets go?

do not forget at least 8 witnesses stated that they heard the shot/s coming from the grassy knoll. ( In front of that fence. And the railway workers on the overpass with two cops as well as placing shots coming from the grassy knoll also stated they saw a "puff" of smoke coming down from the fence area at the top of the grassy knoll. Several of these eyewitness had military experience & one had been a (military) "Ranger " during WW2 & he said the direction of the sound the "shots" & the sound of bullets hitting " flesh & bone" was something that no combat service people will ever forget. Most of these witnesses were never called to testify at the Warren ( whitewash) Commission.

Nobody saw Oswald on the 6th floor, least of all Howard Brennan. The TSBD vice president Ochus Campbell said he saw Oswald being held at gun point by a cop on the first floor near a storage room closet right after the shooting.If Oswald really had a gun pulled on him by a cop, like was later claimed, how could Campbell have known that unless he actually saw it?Officer Baker stated in his original report that his encounter happened on the 4th floor. But not with Oswald. Then he later stated it happened on the 1st floor with Oswald. That report can be found in a book by one of the original crime scene investigators called First Day Evidence. Baker obviously changed it again to a 2nd floor encounter that included Oswald.

What was his rifle doing there then?
And what happened the curtian rods he claimed he walked into work with?

And finally...
Why was his rifle on the 6th floor with his finger prints on them?

In a high stress situation (like after an assassination or murdering a cop) having to purchase a ticket is an unnecesary complication. Presumably this theory puts Oswald in a panicked state in need of "getting out" of the area quickly.Why not meet at a library, or coffee shop, or market? Why make it a dark crowded room where the slightest bit of noise, speaking, commotion is going to immediately cause 20 heads to turn and look at you?If I recall, the reason Oswald gained suspicion was because of how he was acting, but ultimately the call to the police was due to the ticket taker noticing Oswald entering without a ticket.Why, just why, if you were planning some grand elaborate clandestine operation to kill JFK and frame Oswald would you have the Theater as the meet point?////////////

There were no nitrates on Oswald’s cheek, indicating he hadn’t fired a rifle. There were nitrates on his hands, but on the palms, not the back of his hand. When you fire a pistol it deposits nitrates on the back of the hand holding the pistol. In 1963 handling cardboard boxes or a newspaper could cause you to test positive for nitrates. Oswald handled boxes in his job and read newspapers all the time, including on the morning of the 22nd of November, 1963. So, Oswald had no nitrates on his cheek and the back of his hand, indicating he did not fire a rifle or pistol. Because of his job, the nitrates on the palm of his hand is meaningless

Can someone tell me how a Police Dispatch went out right before 1 pm describing the rifle(30 06) the suspect might be carrying, but the rifle was found until approx 24 minutes later?
