That is the only place the word cosmetic was used. It was never used as an adjective in front of the word recall. And the language about increasing the risk of a crash? That was TESLA'S LANGUAGE used to incentivize customers to get their asses down to the dealership and get this problem fixed. The Cybertruck recall, the latest from Tesla, is to fix an exterior panel that could detach while driving, the company said. They took longer than that. There were years of development in which the problem was missed, too.
Because now is when they found out about it - and acted swiftly to prevent anyone from pretending the problem was bigger than it is - you know, "explosive truck bombs" claims and such.
