Tech is great until it ain't...

 I talked to a local dealership service manager with 35 yrs in. He couldn't wait to get out. He said dealing with irate customers is getting old. He said when you pull the back seat in a Cadillac, it's wheel to wheel modules with with mountains of connections and wiring...and now the tech has to find one loose connection...he said it can literally take days at $180 an hour...it's nothing for a $3-$4k bill with a very irate customer...

That's a good point...nothing was more disappointing than taking my brand new grill propane tank in for a refill and getting an old painted over rusty tank as an exchange...
