The American F18's & F16's can STILL go up against the BEST that Russia & China have to offer... and DROP THEM !  I say that because there are glaring problems with Russian and Chinese engines and other critical components... THEY have stolen a LOT of technology from the west over the years, but there are STILL HOLES... When it comes to the F-22 and F-35? THEY are head & shoulders above ANYTHING the Russians of Chinese have... even THOUGH their MTBF is not the best...

NOW... the NEW F-47?  It looks to be Hypersonic, Stealth, Low earth orbit capable, carries a payload (probably hypersonic), and will have an AI co-pilot... IT ALL builds on the back of things America has been doing for YEARS, and are JUST the "next step" for America... while Russia & China are bragging about their "hyper-sonic" missiles?  ...as America's now has high power Lasers being deployed !!

I wouldn't want to be a belligerent Russia or China, going up against the U.S.A. !!
