Before it was called Communism, it was called collectivism.  Long before the Russian Revolution forcefully installed Communism across much of Europe, the Colonial experiment of collectivism failed, and failed miserably.

Low-energy colonialist and harsh leaders quickly exposed the flaws of social collectivism. Hard workers had to more than make up for  those not "pulling their weight".  This caused anger and irreconcilable strife among its inhabitants. Jamestown and Plymouth fell into starvation and disease due to lack of personal responsibility.  The tight, dictatorial controls of those in charge drove settlers away, further exacerbating the problem.  It wasn't until "rugged individualists" learned to embrace personal responsibility and free commerce that colonies became productive and prosperous.

Our Colonial ancestors learned that collectivism kills the hard way.  Russia and other European countries learned that collectivism fails miserably as well.  Now, this recent crop of Nouveau-Communists - Bernie-Bro Communists and Ocasio-Cortez-Collectivists, need to learn this harsh lesson as well.  But, this time, not through "trial-and-error" or "natural failure".  They just need to have the F-ing crap beat out of 'em when they show up screaming and crying about DOGE and advocating for Sexual Perversion.
