It's hard to keep up these days, information coming from all 360 degrees. Don't quote me on this but it's my understanding that DOGE says the current phone identity process is where $100 million in fraud originates. A lot of your personal information is public information so the common crook can easily fraud the most powerful government in the world. Makes sense to make a few changes.

The wife just recently called her PERS pension plan to gain online access. They asked the address of her x husband from over 20 years ago. We had a good laugh with the guy on the phone asking the questions, apparently the X lives in Missouri. Your personal information is out there!

I agree on the opportunity for fraud.  In recent experience, we may have saved someone from getting payments beyond the grave.  It appears phooks were trying to bury an associate in the backyard and turn him into a social security vampire.  Unphookingbelieveable.

The sad part is that the fraudsters have IT skills. The poor folks who can hardly use a phone let alone a computer, and live 300 miles from the closest live reporting station are going to have a hard time.

So you agree Trump and Musk did say they were considering you must report live? I am pretty sure radical leftist zombies did not invent that like Tesla's 110VAC antenna.

Sure, Trump or Musk probably said that at some point and then add in the media putting their own spin on it.

JMO, those two are spending a little too much time in front of the media.
