I was in the checkout and the National Enquirer had the back scoop on what happened at Gene Hackman's home.  I almost bought it because I am curious what really happened. I don't remember buying one in all  my orbits.  Incredibly sad and a lesson to learn from for elder care.

Why do we need a multi-billion dollar bureaucracy to send money to a disaster-stricken area, when you can transfer money today without even the price of a stamp?  Let the UN and the dozens of other disaster relief organizations fill the trucks and planes needed to get them food, water, and blankets!
