You didn't read it, did you...HarperLee » Today, 11:29 am » wrote: ↑ So you found an article that says we might have a recession?
However, 9% inflation wasn't a big deal..
Or 7% interest rates...?
Odd how you look for bad news....
And ignore Biden's disaster....
Cheddy,
Aw, how cute, more name-calling in place of an argument. You’ve been dodging questions, recycling the same replies, and flailing through every thread, and now you’re down to “no one believes you!” That’s not a rebuttal, Veghead, that’s a desperate Yelp review from someone losing in real time. Keep spinning. It’s all you’ve got.Blackvegetable » 7 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ But you're cretin and liar in equal measure.
Who would believe anything you say?
Hey ***, all the media are liars not just fox!Blackvegetable » Today, 7:02 am » wrote: ↑ The Coming Recession Will Be Self-Inflicted
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/artic ... -recession
The US economy is plodding toward a recession, a result of the Trump administration’s pursuit of three contractionary policies in tandem: Reducing the size of the federal government; instituting broad tariffs; and deporting workers. Unless these policies that shrink the economy are abandoned, a recession is all but guaranteed.
Recessions happen. We have suffered 13 since World War II. They all hit familiar beats. Jobs will be eliminated, hiring will slow and unemployment will rise. Also, businesses will shutter, workers will give up on the labor market and wage growth will be anemic. And when a recovery begins, it can take years for the economy to fully heal.
Still, each recession is unique. The constant evolution of the economy means that the conditions surrounding a recession and recovery are never identical. With that in mind, it’s worth taking stock of what will make the coming downturn different.
To start, this will arguably be the only recession directly caused by White House policy
Now THIS is "Irony"....
For years FOX tried to sell its faithful on recession....and the superior economic stewardship of a convicted felon and serial grifter - described by his original CEA as having the IQ of an inbred tanning Bed.
A large swath of Americans, being innumerate and disposed to opining on matters about which they know nothing, mewled about circumstances which were the envy of the balance of the world. Elon Musk spent nearly 300 million to rally social marginalia and drive it to vote in numbers sufficient to put Worse than Buchanan back in the WH....but this time supported by an administration generously sprinkled with FOXwhores and other salad tossers.
Who could possibly have guessed that Bubble Boy, unleashed by SCOTUS' cretinous immunity determination and cheered by a cabinet of how-highs, would promptly soil the carpet and drive the economy into the canal?
Only they who eschew FOX.
Bring back Circus Maximus...

More evidence that Vegfhead says/does the same **** day after day. The evidence continues to pile up like a steaming hot pile of elephant **** that can repel even repel a pack of hyenas.
You post is one persons opinion, are we in a recession or are you just rooting for one?Blackvegetable » 35 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Cheddy,
Why don't you list the measures by which we can gauge Grifty's success...
Would you like me to answer that for you?

No...no monologue...you have no audience.Vegas » 27 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ Ah, beautiful, when backed into a corner, you reach for your favorite stall tactic: “Tell me your credentials before I pretend to answer.” Because nothing says “I’m totally prepared to explain this” like demanding someone’s résumé first. If you really knew what you were talking about, you could explain it clearly to anyone, regardless of their background. But you don’t. So you won’t. You’ll just keep posturing like a TA who forgot to read the textbook.

No, really..
Now answer the question.
That's a good ******..
There's been a few major accomplishments in the 2 months Trump has been President. USAID is basically defunct, illegal immigration is down 94%, and in my opinion the tariffs will be an accomplishment when all is said and done,Blackvegetable » 13 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ That's a good ******..
Now do you want me to tell you why you won't?
There it is again, the patented Veghead reversal. You post a thread, refuse to defend it, then demand that I do your job for you. Newsflash: I’m not your student, and this isn’t your lecture hall. You’ve spent years dodging, deflecting, and ducking basic questions about your own claims. If anyone’s got the easy job here, it’s you. Just once, try actually defending your post without hiding behind questions and cheap theater. Let’s see if you can manage that before barking for answers.Blackvegetable » 22 minutes ago » wrote: ↑ No...no monologue...you have no audience.
Answer the question.
