First good comment/analysis in this thread. Right or wrong, at least it is well written and reasoned.ConservativeWave » 10 Apr 2025, 3:40 pm » wrote: ↑ WHY isn't there a WACKO Liberal out there who thinks this Trump didn't plan this all along? The bottom line, he took a stock market that had been declining because of Trumps attempt to RE-ASSESS the 60 year tariff problem... USED the declining stock market to get the WORLDS attention... He:
1) Made the WORLD believe that he was willing to CRASH the market to make tariff re-assessment happen,
2) Got China to dump bonds, and perpetuate the trade war to make the stock market crash even worse,
3) CONVINCED the rest of the world to NOT got to TRADE WAR with America, but TALK,
4) China however started an all out TRADE WAR against America, AND THEN...
5) America, called for a 90 day pause so the 70+ countries who WANTED to come to a deal COULD talk (Everybody BUT China), AND
6) America, IMPOSED a 150% tariff on China, essentially BANNING their products from America... and left them standing with their PUTZ hanging out...
7) While the market BOOMED...
TELL me that all that was NOT Planned.... MAYBE not pre ordained... because China had the free will to choose their path... and they CHOSE a TRADE War... WELL, Trump took the appropriate steps, and YOU can bet, TODAY... China feels... Isolated, BOXED into a corner, STUPID, and that they have NO GOOD options... RIGHT where trump wants them !!
Today, the market tested the lows and was no where near them ( and it might still not be over ), but chances are the markets will hold, and recover, America gets all the trade agreements reviewed (except China) to make deals... and CHINA is going to have a MUCH TOUGHER road to hoe...
So, TELL ME what happened that WAS/IS NOT GOOD for America ??
Trump said Thursday that U.S. and Chinese officials had met that morning, without specifying who the officials were. You really have no sense of series parallel balancing outcomes do you?
A honest person sees Trump's negotiation tactics as how negotiations of this sort get done.Blackvegetable » 14 Apr 2025, 6:29 am » wrote: ↑ When Watters’ Democratic co-host Jessica Tarlov pointed to the bond market gyrations on Wednesday’s edition of The Five, he told her, “You don’t even know what you’re talking about. That is eternal life living precisely how everyone behaves here 24/7 regardless race, creed, color, national origin, gender biases, figurative tomorrows midnight to noon each rotation of the planet literal end of the day is noon to midnight dawn to dusk calendars change dates at midnight 24 times a rotation of the planet and living never exceeded adapting since conception per native reproduction of life limited to this atmosphere as arrived last 5 billion revolutions around the star.
Why does your we social mantra not accept that since it is scientific fact but not believed by every reality's social consensus rule of law defend s what people believe, not allowing what each person understands about personal time here?
What free will choices have come to call freedom from personal time self evidently here creating social realities pretending anything else is possible beyond living in plain sight.
Rational minds won't accept what personal brains navigate each heartbeat forward now. The actual reason humanity cannot sustain a stable societies more than 4-12 generation gaps in history.
America only exited for 10 generation gaps of my personal ancestry so far and it is being imploded inside out daily now.

An agenda driven liar sees Trump's newly launched Trade War as an all out failure already.
I think patriots see the Trade War as a noble cause.
We need to wean ourselves away from dependence on China...China just made it abundantly clear how much we rely on their products.
I think we should launch a program that is dedicated to "cloning" the made in China products that we are in such desperate need of.
Give China a taste of their own medicine.

Is that the limit of your reality's trained mind reading comprehension? You cannot see the consequences daily from the human population pretending life isn't genetically self evident chromosomes results exist as eternally separated in their specific ancestral lineage, generation gap, time arrived i the universe as an ever changing form never same results twice since a fertilized cell added by their biological parents each generation gap cause lifetimes to never be duplicated since inception of each ancestral lineage reproducing today.Mrkelly » 26 Apr 2025, 11:31 am » wrote: ↑ That’s a long ***, winded way to say that you don’t give a damn about the consequences of tRumps actions on our farmers
