What would your limits be on Food stamps?

After spending a day picking up trash along the highway or picking cotton I think the poor should be paid with sacks of potatoes, oatmeal, carrots, cabbage and portions of meat.
Give the poor charcoal filters to process their own drinking water with.
Instead of rewarding the poor for pooping out kids, force them to ask bleeding heart [White Guilt] liberals to pay for their innate lack of impulse control and lack of responsibility.

I say go back to "commodities".
Sacks of flour and blocks of cheese.
Food stamps (if you qualify) can only be used at certain stores.
If you own a car, no food stamps.
Leave it as terrible to be poor. Quit trying to make it luxurious.

Flour, potatoes, canned vegetables, corn oil, other stuff for making bread, eggs, hotdogs, dry or canned beans, regular milk, sugar, limited amounts of butter, canned meat.
Still, there should be some work effort to get food stamps. I'm not saying something that takes an entire day to do, but some work should be required. I would rather the rest of that day be used to find some better work that pays for more than just basic food items.

Not everyone that can't buy their own food is a scammer. Many are. Many are illegal aliens who found that America's roads are paved with "free stuff". And, many of the others are booze-o-holics or drug addicts. There aren't too many working-folks out there simply down on their luck.
What you call "corporate welfare" is what actually generates and provides decent paying jobs for Americans. So they can buy and pay for their own stuff. Without public assistance. Its what allows us to be a farming nation. Allows businesses to thrive and not be exterminated by cheap Chinese stuff.
People like you know nothing about economics, business, international trade, "wealthy" people and what they actually do and have, or even about the political class that is raping America. You chop up and regurgitate your Communist talking points which start with a modicum of truth, but end up being 95% baseless lies.
