I heard he backed down on electronics too. We seriously need that in the near term at my work. 3,000$ phones will definitely kill Tik Tok in the US.  Everyone will go back to pen, paper, and stamps.

90% of what goes in our equipment is foreign sourced. The tax on the incoming material knocks us out of  the global arena. We went from billions of potential customers to 400 Million in a few months,
 
If Bezos posted the tarriff with each item, maybe someone would say "I can do that in America Cheaper",  but it's automatically  a politically hostile act.
