President Trump imposed a 25% tariff on imported vehicles and car parts, effective April 3, 2025, and May 3, 2025, respectively. This measure was intended to protect and strengthen the U.S. automotive sector. The tariff on complete automobiles went into effect April 3, 2025, and the tariff on auto parts will become effective as of May 3, 2025

the part, if $300, would be $375...
if, like you stated, "the repair" went from $300 to $500, the bill includes labor, making the part a lot cheaper...
you're an idiot...
Domestic tariffs in the form of minimum wage. accurate sarcasm.

thought Arizona was a state? Why are you suggesting they are all in one city?

How many cities are in Arizona? Each gang has its own territory. dah! They all do the same things so a gang by any other name is ancestors practicing the same social behavior spontaneously here simultaneously in separate locations.Buck Naked » 05 May 2025, 11:26 am » wrote: ↑ whoops that’s a lot of gangs in a state with low population

Some were. Most that were based on earnings growth (like Nvidia) were not really overpriced. Still, anything with a 0-PE whose price was going through the roof was dot-com territory, for sure.*Beekeeper » 05 May 2025, 1:05 pm » wrote: ↑ I have to totally disagree. The PE ratios were so far out of whack that the market needed to correct as it has. Right now, you need to see slow, stable growth, not the Bidenomics "dump money into the economy causing inflation" approach. And the markets were reflecting that money dump that many large Corporations took and make massive profits with, MOSTLY due TO that inflation.
Right now, I expect 45,000 in 9-10 months with slower, but more sustainable growth. And with little to no inflation, and whatever little there is, it will be manageable.
